It was said to Ṣalāḥuddīn Al-Ayyūbī 1-may Allāh have mercy on him-:
“You fight the Rāfiḍah Shīʿah2 (the ʿUbaydiyyah) in Egypt and leave the Roman Crusaders to occupy Jerusalem?”
He replied:
❝I will not fight the Crusaders while my back is exposed to the Shīʿah.❞
He eliminated the Fātimid state3 and then conquered Jerusalem4 after he had secured themselves from the treachery of the Rawāfiḍ.
Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah -may Allāh have mercy on him- said:
“Efforts of the Muslims towards conquering the Rawāfiḍ is among the greatest acts of obedience and worship.”

قيـل لصلاح الديـن الأيوبي رحمه الله :*
” تقاتل الشيعة الرافضة (الدولة العبيدية) فـي مصـر و تترك الروم الصليبيين يحتلـون القدس”؟
*فـأجـاب:”لا أقاتل الصليبيين و ظهري مكشوف للشيعة”*
*فـقـضـى علــى الـدولـة الفاطميـة ثـم فتــح القـدس بعـد أن أمــن غـدر الـروافـض*
قال شيخ الاسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله:
(( *سعي المسلمين فـي قهـر الروافـض مـن أعـظـم الطاعـات و العبـادات* .))
