An Evening with the Yemeni Mashāyikh at Riyadh

As Allāh -سبحانه وتعالى- says:

‫وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ﴿ ١١ ﴾‬
And proclaim the Grace of your Lord.

Aḍ-Ḍuḥā, Ayah 11

After attending Jumuʿah Khuṭbah on “Harms of Unlawful Earnings” by the Shaykh Prof. Dr. Saʿad bin Nāṣir ash-Shithrī حفظه الله, the Shaykh was kind enough to invite us along with a group of the Yemeni Mashāyikh for a wholesome lunch at his residence. Later that evening, we were blessed with an evening of thoughtful reminders filled with knowledge by a constellation of scholars and noble brothers -may Allāh preserve them and accept from us and them- from the land of Yemen.

Levels of the people with regards to prayer

🎙️ Shaykh Abul-Fidāʾ ʿAbdullāh ash-Shubayl | تزكية النفس

Self purification

🎙️ Shaykh Abū ʿAbdir-Raḥmān Fatḥ bin ʿAbd Al-Ḥāfidh bin Ismāʿīl at-Taʿizzī al-Maʿāfirī Al-Qadasī1 | إن أحسنتم أحسنتم لنفسك

If you do well, you do so for yourself

🎙️ Akh Abū ʿAbdullāh ʿAbd Al-ʿAlīm bin Aḥmad Al-ʿUdaynī | احتسب أجرك

Seek the reward for your actions

🎙️ Akh Abū Ḥasān Raʾfat bin ʿAbdullāh Al-Ḥāj | وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن

‫‬And they will say: “All the praises be to Allāh, Who has removed from us (all) grief.”
